I guess I should probably explain my tastes a little first: I live in comfort. I'm one of those girls
who can appreciate things like dresses and skirts and high heels- but they're definitely not my
go to choices.
who can appreciate things like dresses and skirts and high heels- but they're definitely not my
go to choices.
- 1. Harem Pants- I loooooove these. (Tbh I already own a few styles of these pants but the pair I'm currently lusting for are these!) Not only are they super comfortable but personally I think they work all year round. The effortless look and feel of them give off a casual and fun vibe- plus they're super easy to incorporate into any wardrobe and they definitely spice up any outfit in a trendy way.
- 2. Slouchy Sweaters- Who doesn't love these?! I live in Canada so getting away with living in thick sweaters for 6 months of the year is something that can easily be done. Something about these sweaters are so Christmas-y, and feeling cozy is def a good feeling. The best thing about knit sweaters is that you can honestly find them anywhere. If you can't tell, I'm in love with anything salt and pepper coloured, like this sweater found here.
- 3. SCARVES!- Chunky, knitted, fleece, silk.... No matter what time of the year, these puppies always work. I'm no stranger to the scarf craze as I do own a dozen or so myself.. but what I'm currently looking for is a simple fabric one. American Apparel does this fab circle scarf in a million and one different colours; can you say pleeeease?!?!
- 4. Coloured Trooper- These military and trooper inspired jackets have been a craze this fall, so if you live someone relatively warm (but still chilly)- why not bring them into winter as well? This beautiful deep red one is super festive and will definitely act as your statement piece while keeping you nice and toasty as well.
- 5. Ankle Booties- Again, another one of fall's lovers, but seriously, something about frilly socks, gold buckles and suede scream edgy, girly, trendy and something I always want to be caught in. Steve Madden always does it right- especially these kickers right here.
Beauty Picks
Missha's Super Aqua Anti-Trouble Formula Purifying Foaming Cleanser
After realizing that there is Triclosan in a great deal of Korean acne cleansers out there, I've been hunting for alternatives that don't include it. I can't be sure of this one though, since I can't find an ingredients list or a review of it to save my life. We won't ever know if we don't ever try it, right?
Innisfree's Jejuba Anti-Trouble Facial Foam
Again, because I'm on a hunt for a new acne cleanser, but also because even though I've only ever tried one Innisfree product- it has worked super well for me. My review of their apple cleansing oil can be found here.
Etude House's Don't Worry Change Lipbalms
FIRST OF ALL-The packaging is freaking adorable and Etude House is freaking adorable. This puppy here is supposed to change into an orange-red tint on your lips, how pretty would that be?! Can't go wrong with a balm that moisturizes and colors at the same time, can yaaaaaa? Plus this has a mango scent. Two words: Mango. Scent.
Etude House's Proof 10 Eye Primer
Because who the heck has the money for some Primer Potion or Shadow Insurance. Let's get real.
Etude House's Goodbye Pore Ever Primer Stick
Super cute again! I love Etude's Wonder Pore Freshner, and so I'm assuming a primer that minimizes the appearances of your pores would work wonders too. The essence version is also offered but it's been said that the stick form gives off a more matte finish and appearance to your makeup- something I'd greatly appreciate because I am one sliiiiiiiick gaaaaal.
The $$$ Pick
