Miscellaneous: August 2013: What's in my bag?

I'm not sure why, (I guess it's the nosy nature of mine) but I love looking through people's things.. whether that being makeup bags, closets, and of course; purses. Soooo, maybe some of you are nosy and curious like myself, and if that's the case then you're in luck! Today I'll be sharing what's in my bag. :)

The bag: Coach

This bag has been with me for the longest time. I got this either during summer of 2009 or 2010. I bring this bag out every now and then because well, I got it for around $80 USD while vacationing in Vegas. It's super easy to use since it's nice and tiny; perfect for summer. The bag itself features Coach's signature print in brown. It has a smaller pocket in the front, the main compartment which closes by a zipper, and an even smaller zipper compartment inside. (p.s: the blue dye is from my jeans!)

The wallet: Coach

This wallet is the newest to my collection! Again, it is Coach and was gifted to me by my cousin last summer. I'm unaware of how much it was but I do believe it was at an outlet price. I specifically requested for a wallet that would fit into my smaller bags (like my Coach crossbody) and for it to contain a pocket for coins. Check and check! The handy back compartment houses my ELF Shine Eraser Sheets, which is an essential for me, especially during the summer heat!

The sunglasses: American Eagle Outfitters
These babies here are the only pair of sunglasses that I feel relatively good in. The shape of them don't overly emphasize my wide nose and they stay up pretty well even with my lack of a nose bridge haha! I really love the tortoise frame and the slightly ombre tint of the lenses. My favourite part though, is probably the gold plating on the rims of the frame, I think it adds a timeless yet trendy punch to the look. I actually got these on a deal with my friend! All accessories were buy 1 get 1 50% off a few months back so I practically forced her to get a pair with me hahahah! On their own, these sunnies retail for about $16 and can be found here, where the pair that my pal got can be found here! Judging from the site, the buy 1 get 1 50% is still going on, I suggest taking a look at everything there is to offer, since all of the jewelry seem casual-cute too!

The anklet: Charlotte Russe
While I was vacationing in Vegas this past July (do you see a pattern here?!?!) I stumbled into Charlotte Russe on the last day of my stay just meaning to browse around and see if there was anything extra that I could possibly pick up. The clothing was merely "eh" to me, but what I didn't realize is how inexpensive and cute the jewelry is, seriously! All of the jewelry was at a 2 for $10, which included rings, bracelets, necklaces, and combinations of the three. I spent about at least 15 minutes browsing the section multiple times just to make sure there wasn't something that I missed. I ended up getting 4 packages, 1 being this anklet. The other three I brought home as a little something for my friends. The anklet itself is gold and features multiple triangles on it. Once I saw it I knew it had to be mine! I've been wanting an anklet for quite some time now but I've never found one that I liked enough or was in my price range. Unfortunately I can't seem to find this specific anklet on Charlotte's website but here's the link for the 2 for $10 deal. Once I got home from vacation I kicked myself for not picking up more things but I am fully satisfied with my purchase. fjdlfjsfljkdgaign it looks so good with cute sandals! fjdkfjwaofdjaklfsd

The essentials: hand sanitizer, keys, Sharpie
The hand sanitizer that I've been carrying around for the past year is this one by Bath & Body Works. It's called Panda Pear, and it's probably the best scent ever. I'm almost out of it, and I think it has lasted me a super long time considering how these little guys only house 29mL or 1 fl oz. of product.

My keys are bound together on this princess-y key chain thing that I got from a fair during my elementary school days. It's super old but I can't seem to bring myself to get a new one. The size of the band is perfect and the pink is easy to find in my bag. TIP for all of you ladies with keys that look alike: paint the heads of them in different nail polish shades! They become super cute and super convenient for those days where you don't have the time or effort to try every single key.... which is everyday, right?

I've recently been carrying around this metallic silver Sharpie because well, 1) Sharpies are handy 2) Almost no one carries a silver sharpie around 3) You never know when you'll run into a celebrity (Hahahahhahaha in my city though?!??!) and 4) This specific Sharpie has been touched by people like John O'Callaghan of The Maine, Sam Tsui, and Kurt Hugo Schneider. ♥

The lips: My Beauty Diary, Benefit, Tony Moly

Swatches of the products in the order pictured above!

Just like every girl in the world, I carry around multiple lip products with me. To be honest with y'all, I didn't get into the whole lip craze until recently. My go-to lip balm is this Peach colored one from My Beauty Diary. I got this lip balm for around $6-$7 at an Asian supermarket in my area.

Next is my new favourite.. a lip tint. This is Cha Cha Tint by Benefit, in it's deluxe sample size. I got this in a three pack that also included Sun Beam and Posie Tint for around $20. I do really like this but I'm not sure if I will purchase it in its full size.. seeing as it retails for $36 here in Canada. I will probably try picking up a Lioele or another more reasonably priced one in the future.

Lastly is the Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Orange. I love how this product smells... like oranges! I got this for about $6 from f2plus1 on eBay.

That should be it for now! Hopefully this was enough to satisfy your nosy minds.

Thanks for reading! Until next time!
