Review: Etude House AC Clinic Intense Red Spot Balm

How are y'all feeling today? Snow has finally decided to fall where I live, which means the next 5-6 months will be extremely cold, and dreadful. :( ANYWAYS, the product that I will be reviewing today is Etude's AC Clinic Intense Red Spot Balm. I picked this guy up for school, since I knew that stress and hormonal breakouts were going to be my biggest enemy. Let's begin.

I picked this up at cosmetic.jolse for around $10-11. Jolse is great because they have free shipping as well as weekly discounts on 4 of the most popular brands: Innisfree, Missha, Etude House and Tony Moly. Since it's the first week of November, there will be a 10% discount off all Innisfree products. I'd definitely check that out.

The balm lives in this jade glass jar with a plastic screw on top. The product comes with 20mL but to me, it looks like a lot more. The scent is definitely medicinal, but not strong at all. My nose or sensitive skin doesn't have a problem with it. In fact, I find the scent to be quite soothing. The balm is meant to be placed on trouble spots or areas with scarring. It's meant to decrease the size of acne and blur the look of acne scarring. It also claims to brighten the skin.
I've been using this on a pretty consistent basis ever since the second week of September; mainly on my scarring. It's definitely not a potent acne treatment seeing how zits don't disappear right away but I don't think it's entirely useless either. As for scarring, I don't see too much of a difference at all.
Dolloped
Half blended
Fully blended

The conclusion? Though I don't see much improvement in my skin, I'll definitely end up finishing this product up. I don't think I'll ever be repurchasing, seeing how there are soooo many different treatments to try. Would I recommend? Eh. Truthfully, I'd pass. If you have tried this product out, how has it worked for you?

Thanks for reading! Until next time!

xo, Catherine
