Unboxing: Memebox Special Box #18: Smile Care

Hey friends! I'm in the midst of studying for midterms and completing assignments and homework so I'm sorry for my lack of blogging. School is seriously kicking my butt and hopefully after the next 3 weeks I'll actually be able to finally take a break and actually breathe. Anyways, today was an exception to my lack of contribution to the blogosphere- Memebox recently sent me their 18th Special Box for an unboxing post and I thought that it'd only be courteous of me to share with you what is inside this little guy! 

But first, a little about Memebox: 

According to Meme themselves, they're currently the #1 beauty box provider in Korea and they've recently just arrived in the US and other countries. Their goals are to bring beauty enthusiasts the most trusted, and best loved Korean beauty prices and affordable prices. They have specific boxes to fit specific beauty needs.  I will seriously never get sick of seeing Meme's cute little boxes sitting on my front step :)

 So, onto what's in the box itself!


1. Perioe 46cm Spray (6.5mL), $4
Description: This is the perfect carry-around mouth spray for those of you always having to brush your teeth after a good meal. One quick spritz of the 46cm Spray will rid away any bad breath and freshen up your spirits as well!

Not really sure how excited I am to use this product.. Don't get me wrong! I love fresh, minty breath but I'm just thinking of how awkward and strange it'll be for me to whip this out in public and use it just like that.

2. MDaida Butter Cream Lip Mask and Vita Sugar Lip Scrub (20mL each), $15
Description: It only takes a quick 3 minutes to deliver an intense nourishment to your lips with this mask. Enriched with vanilla, cacao, and shea butter, it'll deeply treat your dry, chapped lips and make it soft and moist within 3 minutes! Enriched with vitamin-rich grapefruit extracts, this sugar scrub is extremely gentle and rejuvenating as well as effective in removing all the dead skin off your chapped lips. Use 2-3 times a week for best results. It is highly recommended to apply the lip mask after having scrubbed your lips.

I was a little disappointed to see that my lip scrub from this set exploded before it even got to my door step. It's really not a big deal though, seeing how a lot of the product is still included. Either way, this product is perfect for the super cold winter months that are headed my way.

3. L'OCEAN Shea Butter Lip Balm (3g), $9. 
Description: Enriched with shea butter, and mango butter, L'OCEAN's popular lip balm moisturizes and treats dry, chapped lips by preventing dehydration and delivering deep nourishment. This balm will make your lips look more plump and healthy. Plus, each of the five options is infused with the following fruity colors and scents- grapes, peaches, citrus, cherries, and grapefruit.

This is probably my most disappointed product in this box mainly because Vaseline is my tried and true lip moisturizer that has never failed me yet. I do admit that the color of this balm is pretty, but it'll most likely find another home with my mother seeing how I'll never use it. I probably would've been more excited about this product if it was in the grapes color and scent.

4. Yufit Luminee-S 7 Days Whitening Teeth Program (7each), $24. 
Description: With this teeth whitening clinic which utilizes hydrogen peroxide - an ingredient used by real dentists - you'll be able to experience a brighter, more confident smile within 1~2 weeks of continuous use. The refreshing mint scent gives an extra cooling effect as well.

This is definitely the product that had me most excited. I've never tried teeth whitening strips before these though, so I can't really say how they're working in comparison to other brands. The one thing that I really don't like about these strips though, is that I'm supposed to keep them on for an entire hour. That's an ENTIRE HOUR of gel and saliva gathering in your mouth and... it's definitely not pretty or enjoyable at all. I do think I notice immediate results after using, but that changes a little once I wake up in the morning and take a peek in the mirror.
